The Voice

We upgraded our television package by logging onto www.CableTelevision.net and I can’t believe how many new shows are out that I have missed since we haven’t had cable. I think that one of my favorite shows that I have been watching is “The Voice”. It is a show that is kind of like “American Idol”, but they have four famous recording artists as judges. This season it is CeeLo, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and Adam Levine (from Maroon 5). They are in chairs turned around and they just listen to a contestant’s voice before they choose them for a team. They have no idea what the contestant looks like. They remove all influence from appearance and choose based strictly on the sound and range of the contestant’s voice. I think that it would be so much fun to be able to sing and be on the show. Unfortunately, singing will never be in my repertoire of specialties. I have always sounded like a turkey. I think I even remember my sister starting to cry when she was a baby and I would start to sing! How bad is that!?

We tried the chairs at Wal-Mart and Home Depot but were still not satisfied.  We felt that there must be something better.  What we finally found was this chaise lounge chair.  It’s a zero gravity recliner.  Looks like it’ll be just right!
